Frequently Asked Questions
• Where is it made?
All our vet bedding is made in Yorkshire, in the United Kingdom.
• What is it made from?
Our vet bedding is made from 100% polyester which is made from recycled plastic bottles. It is non toxic, non-allergic, doesn't support bacterial growth, resistant to staining and dries quickly.
• Can I wash vet bedding?
Yes, our rubber backed vet bedding is machine washable at 30/40°. The traditional green backed can be washed at up to 90°. We don't recommend using fabric softener as this can coat the fibres and prevent the moisture wicking properties from working properly.
• Does it shed fibres?
You may find that your vet bedding loses a few fibres at first. This is due to the manufacturing process in which some loose fibres can get caught in the pile. The shedding will get less over time and will not affect the quality or pile of the vet bedding. The fibres are not harmful to animals.
• Who can use it?
Anyone can use vet bedding, a lot of boarding kennels and vets use it. As well as being used in our homes.
• Is it easy to resize?
Yes! Just measure the size you want and cut easily with a stanley knife or good sharp scissors.
